“What I like about being a GR is being able to pass information from our group to the district, and take information from WSO, NCWSA, and the district back to the group. I’m not in charge, just an information passer.” Kay B.
A Group Representative (GR) is an Al-Anon/Alateen member who represents the group at District Meetings and the Area Assembly where the groups share information and vote on important issues. The GR then brings that information back to the group.
Becoming a GR is a wonderful way to enhance your own growth and meet others who have experienced recovery on a different level.
