I can choose to be peaceful. I can choose my attitude and behavior. No one makes me have a particular response. It is up to me. It isn’t easy to change old ways of responding, to reacting to life’s disappointments, to my fears, my losses or my resentments. As Roz used to say, “It’s time to put my big girl panties on.”
My behavior and my attitudes are just that, mine. If I don’t like the direction I am going, it is time for me to make some changes. At the top of my list is to ask for help. Help from my HIgher Power, my sponsor and whomever else I think may be able to help me with myself. I can look within and stop looking everywhere else. Peace is available and is God’s will. It is available to me if I do the work. If I choose it.
