Doubt is a part of my life and relationship with my Higher Power. Love is a force, a force of good in this universe, and it is my Higher Power. It is something much more powerful than I. Love works miracles. Yet, I doubt it is here to take care of me or that it cares about what goes on in this world, let alone my little life. Love isn’t imbued with human characteristics. It doesn’t have a conscience, desires, or emotions. It doesn’t feel. Love has no end goal in sight, no plans for the future; it has no judgement and no regrets. All those things are human stuff. Love just is. It is now. It is available now and always.
We as individuals and we collectively can choose to think and act in love or in fear. When we choose love over fear, miracles are possible. Connection and deep understanding happen. Forgiveness becomes possible. Life is so much better for me and everyone around me when I choose love in my attitude and behavior. When I choose to love myself, when I choose to act lovingly toward myself and others, the world is a better place. Love is transformative. Love is healing.
I doubt that my Higher Power intervenes in my life with any purpose. It does change me and my life for the better when I willingly and actively choose love before I interact with any people, places, or things. I hope the love I’ve received and then given continues to create miracles in this universe. I am so grateful for all the love I have received and continue to receive. Thank you LOVE.
