The rooms of Al-Anon – and AA – are full of broken people. We enter shattered by heartbreak and worry . . . the effects of alcoholism on our lives. But in the rooms, we find hope that we can laugh again.

We learn to accept ourselves and others, even the alcoholic. Fear is replaced by faith as we learn to trust our Higher Power. Our brokenness is redeemed and we find new purpose and value. Our stories of recovery are beautiful and give new meaning to our lives. Where once we doubted the future, we offer our brokenness to help others. Our lives are transformed into a thing, of rare beauty.
